The MegaView III fits to the wide-angle (35 mm) port of almost all common TEMs and is equally suitable for both biomedical and materials science applications. This lens coupled camera offers a well-coordinated comprehensive concept composed of the latest in electronics, optics, design and functionality. The MegaView III is pneumatically driven and offers high resolution, optimized scintillators and highly sensitive chips. This combination guarantees a camera system with high dynamic range and high sensitivity. It also means that weak signals can be recorded. Frame rates of up to 20 images per second make it viable to search and focus directly onscreen. A FireWireTM interface is used for transferring data from camera to PC.
