Key Activities

• Business development of the European Cell Screening Market, i.e. development and implementation of methods to successfully introduce new products into new and established markets
• High level sales support, e.g. support, training and consulting of the Olympus sales organizations in Europe
• High level customer pre- and after-sales support, system installations and training
• Key account management, i.e. identify, win and support lead customers
• Product presentations, exhibitions, product roll outs
• Product development/management, e.g. identification of new applications and markets
• System soft- and hardware testing
• Application support of the software development team
• Support of marketing activities, i.e. provide contents for marketing materials and application reports
• Assistance to the product manager and internal organizational tasks in the product unit 

Your Profile:

• Scientific academic degree, preferably PhD in Biology, or equivalent career in biomedical life sciences
• In-depth experience in cytometry and/or cellbased light microscopy (fluorescence, IHC)
• Experience with life science imaging, image analysis and/or life science data analysis
• Know-how in high content screening, lab automation, liquid handling, cell biology, molecular biology, and/or drug screening would be an asset
• Professional sales or product management experience of advantage
• Excellent spoken and written English and German language skills; additional European language(s), preferably French, a plus
• Willingness to travel frequently in Europe
• Very good communication skills, self-confident and convincing appearance
• Strong team spirit, and a reliable, responsible and highly motivated, self-dependent work style
